Trigonometric Flange Layout Formulas

Developing structural hole alignments without expensive machine software requires converting polar geometry markers (radius and angle) back into flat layout metrics. The calculations use the radius value ($R = \text{PCD} / 2$) and step angles incremented by splitting a full sweep ($\Delta\theta = 360^\circ / N$). Individual hole coordinate plots derive from the cosine and sine relationships: $X = R \times \cos(\theta)$ and $Y = R \times \sin(\theta)$.
